This is a very nice library, the clock is worth the visit. I like all the windows which give an added feeling of light and openness.

The pendulum clock at the downtown Lexington Central Library is very unique - you will not see another one like it. In addition, there are very well done horse paintings all around the area housing the pendulum. Definitely worth seeing if in town.

You will enjoying seeing the swinging clock and its setting in the downtown Lexington Library. The library has a good genealogy department too!

Beautiful library with very inclusive genealogy research area on 2nd floor. Plenty of space /tables to spread out and look. warning- place is kept very cool & air conditioned. Bring sweater if there for very long! Staff very helpful.
