My husband and I took our grandsons (9 & 7 yrs. old) to Levi Jackson State Park. Postitives: plenty of playgrounds for kids, nice staff, swimming pool looked nice (rained too much to enjoy), multiple bathrooms/showers. Negatives: not a lot to do (one trail, mill...More

My husband and I took a long weekend to camp here with our pupper. Check in was quick and painless and the sites in the front section were nice and level. Some sites had more trees than others but we were allowed to drive through...More

So nasty and weirdos walking everywhere creepy would be more fun if they made it clean but they just won’t. You should do the escape games instead.

The park in general has little that would compare to the KY State Resort Parks. There is a campground and a public pool, both of which are decent. The grist mill is interesting to watch when it’s open, The best feature is the new Treetop...More

This ropes-type course is located in the state park, but it's run by a private company. I did this with my 15-year-old son while my wife and friend watched on. My son said, "it was really fun but I nearly died of exhaustion (that was...More

We ended up at the park because we had a few hours before an evening event and were looking for something to do. The park was close to our hotel and free, so it seemed like the logical choice. We really had no expectations going...More

Just average. Trails could be nicer and more added. Some playgrounds could use attention. Potential is there.

I stopped by because the great Roadside America website (which lists "oddities" in the US and Canada) had a report on the McHargue's Mill exhibition and museum about grain mills and millstones. The museum wasn't open when I got there (RA recommends calling ahead, 606-330-2130......More

It was a nice park to visit. The mill, was very interesting, and was educational. They have nice walking trails, a pool, and picnic area. They also have a campground if you enjoy camping. Would suggest this to anyone who loves nature and peaceful scenery.
