This is a beautiful property. The grounds and buildings are beautiful and the landscape well maintained. Our tour guide, Haley, did an excellent job giving us the history and process that goes into making this bourbon. Nice tasting at the end of the tour. Be...More

Makers Mark is unique from the other distillers. You have to come here to learn why. The setting is lovely. They have been actively using the same buildings and ground to distill since 1805 (though it wasn't called Makers Mark till 1953). Woody was a...More

I expected this would be a deep dive into the technical and production details of Marker’s Mark along the lines of the Woodford Reserve tour. Alas, it was little more than a standard consumer tour that lacked technical details and was more about marketing talking...More

We've visited a couple of distilleries before and Makers Mark was another fun experience. The actual making of the alcohol was explained clearly by a very talented tour guide who knew her whisky. The grounds and the historic buildings were beautifully maintained. And the Makers...More

The tours start to all sound the same, but this tasting stood out from all the rest. We gathered in a tasting room, sampled 6 selections, as well as a bourbon ball (my fav).

You have got to try a VRBO or Home Away! We found a beautiful home two blocks from downtown and we loved it.
