Fun place to go!

Wide variety of restaurants and entertainment. Fun place to visit and much to see and do in Louisville! Very close to the Louisville Slugger factory.

Turnoff: lots of drunks, stoned, panhandlers, & hobos loitering in the midst of daylight. If this is a big tourist place, there should be more security patrols. Its probably alive & rockin' at night because of all the bars. There are a variety of food establishments; selection of food are decent but for the most part overpriced. There is a... More

Interesting area, but was disappointed there were not more local restaurants and bars. National chains are not that special. Nicely constructed and inviting, but needs more "Pizzaz".

Very exciting and eclectic atmosphere, big name bands come to venues there and the restaurants are very diverse. Great place to come to!

Walked down to 4 Street Live to go to the bars. we went into Hard Rock Cafe first and had dinner and drinks. then we went in to Howl at the moon for more drinks and dancing. We had a great time.

Unless you like people watching, this place is horrible. You have to pay $10 to even get to the upstairs bars, and it is full of very drunk people. The drinks are of course very expensive as well.

This is a downtown restaurant area on 4th street. There are lots of restaurant options and other things to do. This is where Jim Beam Urban Distillery is. We went on a Friday night from about 6-9 pm and ate dinner. Apparently late night, it is a little different though and turns into a club/party area. They started checking id's... More

A very trendy hub for different styles of food and entertainment. A little pricy, but very diverse and enjoyable experience. Something for everyone.

There were several vacant restaurants, and less activity than I would have expected in the places that are open. I suspect the place is HOPPING in warmer weather.
