This park is so lovely. We were in town for the Memorial Day weekend and the experience is one I will take with me and will definitely bring me back. They had a flea market with lots of lovely vendors and the food vendors are under the bridge which makes for a nice lunch in the shade. The playgrounds and... More

We walked from our hotel down to the waterfront park. There is an excellent playground for little kids with lots of fun equipment to play on. There is also a big field that could be used for soccer or practically anything else. There is a fountain with some interesting art work and lots of space with beautiful views of bridges... More

The Lincoln Memorial is worth checking out if you are interested in US history. Walking across The Big Four Bridge was also nice. As you walk there is history about the building of the bridge, which was nice to read. However, the other bridges block the view of the skyline, so if you are looking for a nice view of... More

Walking along the waterfront park in Louisville provides relaxing and various views. greAt views of the bridges crossing Ohio River, nice walkways, children's park, water features, scenic ares with benches for sitting and taking in the views...ample parking lots....

You can go with your couple, friends, kids, pets, family, to do whatever you want, bike ride, run, pet walking, or just enjoy the view. And most of all you need to go and watch Thunder over Louisville it's an amazing show.

This is everything you'd want in a park! Great (large) playground for kids, and nice sized splash park open during the summer months. Lots of (free!) parking, clear sidewalks, good picnic areas with charcoal grills, and lovely bench swings all around. There are bike rentals available and often there are food/drink vendors in the park. Great place to go.

We walked up to this beautiful park which sits right at the edge of the Ohio River. The view of the bridges and river were very picturesque. The gardens and statues were so enjoyable. Great photo opportunities at this park.

They have musical events, patriotic events, fireworks, beer fests on the great lawn, which is a wide open area. River tours can be had on a giant paddlewheel boat or other vessels. There are two water feature areas and you will find people swimming in the fountains or dancing through the water features. The Big Four Bridge is light up... More

Great place to relax and enjoy the park and the water. Plenty of parking, sidewalks, appears to be handicap accessible.
