The Bard's Town is a joy. It hosts performances all the time -- from plays to comedy, to jazz, to karaoke and improv. There is always something to see in the theater upstairs or lounge downstairs. The drinks are inexpensive -- from $2 for a...More

Love going here for jazz events but food is hit and miss for anything but huge burgers. I had a tasteless, but very large, fish taco with fried chunks of fish. I sent it back once to be reheated but it never reached more than...More

This is a really fun place with good ford, local entertainment and a good selection of reasonably priced wines, spirits and beers.

Went to the Bard's Town for the Improv show. The Louisville group was much funnier than the Chicago group. I'm not sure the show was worth the $15.00 cover. We had a couple of drinks from the bar and the service was good and the...More

We went for the improv show, which was awesome and loved the food. The gooey butter cake was delicious. The Reuben was fantastic.

Really enjoyed my time here. Enjoyed several good local beers on tap. Nice bartenders and locals filled the place. They also have an event room where things were going on. Seems like they use it for various shows and group meetings. Cool place.

As a native Louisvillian, I am disappointed this was my first visit to The Bards Town. The food was quite good, the service was tremendous and the play was excellent! I'd highly recommend the Diablo pasta with either chicken or sausage--both quite delicious.

We randomly found the restaurant off google. We are from Wisconsin and am not familiar with the area. Figured we would give it a try. Very good service, very quick to get food out, amazing homemade dressings, and cool environment

Came here with some friends before a performance and was very pleased with our experience. We were there around 5pm and were lucky enough to take advantage of the six dollar happy hour appetizers! I got loaded sweet potato fries that were delicious. There were...More
