This museum is free for students of Murray State, not sure about other guests. There are traveling exhibits that come here. It's a great space to spend a little time.

The lady who greeted us was very nice. But it's a rather limited museum. Most of the exhibits are photographs and posters. There are a few exhibits showing tools, barber chairs etc. so for a small city, museum I'd rate it a five.

It's a cool concept, but when you keep the same exhibits for 30+ years, you get no repeat business. As a native of Murray, I know about my hometown, but there's not much labeling or context to explain exhibits to those who don't know the history. Nor is there anyone to ask.

I needed to waste a few hours in Murray, and I used this site to find something to do. The University has designated parking for visitors of the museum, which is nice. The museum is totally free, which is a major plus in my book. The exhibits are so interesting, there are so many different topics covered. They have Civil... More
