What a well presented place. The curator Philip was very accommodating. The video's were very interesting and helped me understand how the Civil War played out for the 4 years it ran. great exhibits of uniforms, bullets, and other paraphernalia used during the civil war....More

If you enjoy civil war era history you will love this area. The battle of Richmond was fought on these very grounds. Plan your trip for the reenactment you will enjoy

Can't give a fair rating of this attraction as it is not open on Sunday. The Visitor Information Center in Richmond is also closed on SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, or we may have realized that this was the case, wasted our time visiting both sites. What...More

The museum is small but well put together. Artifacts are good and the interactive map was useful. The building itself is nice too boot.

This sight has a good number of Civil War memorabilia displayed. There are several uniform replicas on display as well as a number of photos and written mementos from the war. There was also a short video presentation in at least 3 room. As civil...More

A nicely appointed historical house with a museum is worth the trip inside. Learn about the battle of Richmond while you tour the facility.

Definitely worth the time. Great collection of historical artifacts and a guide who gave us lots of interesting information on the battle and the civil war. It was also sobering to get a glimpse of the magnitude of the civil war. We highly recommend this...More

This is a smaller museum but very informative and full of Civil War period artifacts and military regalia, plus several multimedia presentations. An hour well spent while visiting gthe grandkids.
