    Gorgeous views!
I am terrified of heights, and I braved the sky lift up the mountain. I was fine until the final ascent to the top. My 25 year old son and I had bought a round trip ticket, but decided to hike our way back down! If you choose that option, know that there are a lot of stairs to hike down! We even saw a couple getting married at the top of the rock!!!

    Ride the Sky lift!
We rode the Sky lift to The Natural Bridge & hiked back down. Really fun with amazing views! The Rock Garden Trail is also beautiful for a side hike along the way. But ride the Sky lift!! It's beautiful! And the view at the top will blow your mind!

    Great views…
Came here with 3 family members who were 70+ and I myself am 55. Enjoyed a nice ride on the sky lift that took us up an additional 600 feet. It is a very slow ride, but gives a very nice view as you are going up. Once at the top, you have two ways to go. One is Lookout Point. It was a very open area that offered excellent views all around the park. Was great for taking pics. The other trail took you to the natural bridge which you can walk over. It offered very nice views as well, and also gave the opportunity to walk down several other trails, each with varying levels of difficulty. We walked just one other trail and having walked 3 trails total, we had no problem getting around wearing tennis shoes, even after a downpour of rain happened. The other trails looked like you should have hiking boots just to be safe. Was a great place for pics and for enjoying nature for anyone who likes to do that. We ate at the restaurant on property which was good and the gift shop was nice as well. Had a lot of fun here.

    Sky lift and Natural Bridge
Me and a group of friends wanted to see the Natural Bridge but some weren’t sure if they’d make the hike up. We took the lift to the top to see the scenery with ease! Then we had a easy going hike down. The trail back to the sky lift parking does have a few step downs that are steep so just take your time and you’ll be alright. Stop by Miguel’s Pizza after your hike! Right next door!

    Most beautiful arch
Anytime is a good time to visit Natural Bridge, but fall is the best time to see the colors of fall. You can hike to the top from the lodge if you want, but if you're not in the best shape then ride the sky lift. One of the most beautiful areas of Kentucky.

    Cottage was top notch stay
We stayed in a cottage at Natural Bridge and I just have to give a shout out about what fantastic shape and clean our cottage was. I have stayed in brand new hotels that were not this clean and well maintained. Our cottage was #205, add to this great cabin the amazing scenery and all the very nice people at the lodge and this was a great vacation with a lot to do.

Beautiful creek sites but not big camper friendly!
If you have never been here do your research! Beautiful location and staff we met was very nice but there was no one to direct you to your site and there are several camp locations and loops. Our site was sized for up to 42’ and at 39’, we barely fit. They also don’t give any indication that the Lower Loop in Middlecreek, has a sharp turn and a very steep incline to get down in the camp and you need to come in first entrance, not the second one. Once we finally got turned around to make that turn, we scraped down that entire incline, rubbing into our truck and camper. Our spot was beautiful on the creek but we unfortunately will not be able to come back and I would not suggest big 5th wheels or RV’s book in that lower loop of middlecreek. Once we got settled, the campground was great

Natural Bridge State Resort Park Lodge: Comfortable beds. When we first arrived the room we were given had not been cleaned. So we went up to the front and they gave us a new room. The door to the deck was warped and hard to open and close but that did not diminish our stay. It is kind of expensive for just a basic hotel room. I think with tax, midweek, in October it came to about $160. Stay away from room 127, it was the one right across from the ice machine.

Natural Bride Sky Lift: Oh my gosh. Can you say scary looking? The last 25% of this ski lift is vertical. Straight up. I just made myself look at eye level and was ok. But the operation of the lift was slow and smooth so it made me relax and not be so afraid. It was actually easier to go down vertical than up. So even though I am afraid of heights, it went fine and I'm glad I did it.

Natural Bridge: from the sky lift it was about 1/4 mile to the bridge. It was scary to be that far up with no railings. So I stayed in the middle and it was fine.

Natural Bridge Overlook trail: This was actually a better view. This hike is about 1/4 mile from the sky lift too. But from here, you can see Natural Bridge. I'm glad we did this first to actually see the magnificence of the Bridge. Again, no rails so if you have kids, keep them close.

Enjoyed riding and walking around the state park. It us very clean and has -leant you picnic stops. All roads are marked well. Would recommend taking a picnic lunch or eating before you go not a lot of places to eat. We were there on a Saturday nd it was crowded but you could stay apart from the groups. There is a lodge there and several hotels within 15 mikes

Several family members stayed both at Middle Fork campground and at the lodge. The campground was fine for the most part except for Saturday afternoon the water pipes were flushed and caused the water unusable for that night and the following day. Including making the bathrooms and showers unusable due to dark rusty water and no pressure.
The lodge was quite dated and showed it was in need of updating in several places. There was no house keeping during our 3 day stay. The door to our room required a shoulder to push it open. The security door to the patio was sprung to the point there was no way to close.
While there is much to do in this area we felt the price paid for the lodge room was rather high for the condition of the property. And at the campground I don't know what the people in tents did for bath facilities due to the water issue.

What a place to go out and become part of nature. Many trails to hike with beautiful views. The hardest part is the accent, it is strenuous but once you make it up it is absolutely beautiful. My suggestion is once you have reached the top it is an easy hike and would try and do most of the trails you want while you are up there. The lodge had good rooms and the restaurant was delicious with very friendly staff. Loved our stay and would definitely go back in the future.

My wife and I stayed in a cottage at this park one night to check it out for future longer stays. First, you have to check in after 4pm, out by 10am. Front desk was very matter of fact on this part. In October, the day is already over by the time you carry your luggage and items the 35 steps down to the cottage. Outside siding was rotten in places. The screens in the porch were busted out and the porch was terrible looking, (a little paint would help). It appeared new floors had been installed throughout the cabin. These floors were sweating for some reason and were wet and sticky throughout the stay. Kitchen table and chairs were very old and in bad shape. Kitchen appliances new and nice. Bathroom had mold and missing grout in tiles. Bath soap and shampoo dispensers continuously leaked and made the tub slick and dangerous. We wondered why a commode plunger was next to the commode, soon became evident that a ongoing problem with flushing existed. Even had a note on the plunger by maintenance to leave it in the bathroom. Not at all worth the $203.89 for 18 hours. Will not stay there in the future for sure!

We enjoyed our trip to Natural Bridge Resort State Park. We purchased round-trip tickets on the sky lift, which we were grateful for given how hot it was on the Sunday in June when we were there. The trip of the sky lift took about 15 minutes each way. Once at the top, you can walk five minutes one way to get to the actual Natural Bridge, or 10 minutes the other way to get to a lookout point where you can see the Natural Bridge in the distance. We did both, and so we probably spent about 45 minutes total up on top. The ride down on the sky lift was a little more nerve-racking for those of us afraid of heights, but the ride was very smooth both ways. We really enjoyed our time here.

We visited RRGSP for the first time on a beautiful day in late September. We took the Skylift up ($11/adult one-way) and walked down via the Rock Garden Trail and Low Gap Trail. The Natural Bridge offers an excellent view from the top. It’s really neat to see the rock formations from below. As the name implies, the Rock Garden Trail requires a walk through and over all sorts of rocky terrain. The trail is moderately strenuous; my heart rate was a little over 100 bpm for much of the hike. I don’t recommend this trail for anyone with bad feet, bad knees, bad hips, or anyone in a hurry. There are lots of things to do and places to stay at the park, but we were only there for a few hours. There was no entrance fee.

We had a group of 8 from Kansas make a stop here over spring break, including 2 teenagers and 2 children ages 5 & 7. This was the first time the 5 & 7 year olds had ever hiked. Some great hikes here suitable for kids. We also stopped at the on-site restaurant & enjoyed the lunch buffet of fried chicken, salad, rolls, green beans (etc) and cobbler for dessert. Overall a great stop on our multi-state road trip. I'd love to come back when the kids are older to hike some of the longer & harder hikes.

We didn’t really look into this at all, just went on the recommendation of friends. Pretty much a direct incline to the top, people of all ages and most abilities seemed to be braving it and plenty of spots to rest along the way. The bridge was bigger than we expected. To get on to the top of it, you must go through a narrow path/staircase so it was a battle to get through for those going up and down which resulted in lines and quite literally a stand off for one lady who wanted to come down while a long line of us were trying to go up. We enjoyed the top and opted to take the path to the lookout point to see the bridge from afar. From there we realized we could take a shortcut through Devils Gulch and meet back up with the main path to avoid a second trip through the narrow staircase. The way down in devils gulch had some handrails missing and a couple scary looking stairs. If this was part of the theatrics, great, spot on, but otherwise maybe some upgrades/maintenance would have been just as well. This said, if you are relatively agile, we’d still suggest the shortcut to not have to brave the narrow through way to get back down from the top of the natural bridge and it also provided a break from the masses.

Put on your best hikers and pull out a walking stick. Great outdoor experience for any age but be prepared to walk a lot. They're is a skylift if needed but we walked different trails up on different days so the view was different. Some of the paths were trails, some were wood or stone steps. There are several shelters and overhanging rocks along the path in case you get caught in the rain. It took us about 40 minutes to get to the top. The lower level also has a restroom and got shop.
