The Red River is the picturesque setting for Bossier City's unique shopping and entertainment destination, Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets. Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets is the first lifestyle center to open in the state of Louisiana offering outlet shopping, an entertainment district and riverfront dining.

The last time we went, it was not crowded at all. We are always able to get some really good deals on candles at a couple of the stores there. We also like going to Bass Pro and eating at the Cheesecake Bistro.

Stopped by while we were in the area. Was there when it was not time to eat. We left the area but will be back to hit one of the many restaurants when we return. Very neat area to walk in with the many views.

Kids loved the arcade. Variety of stores. Good outlet prices. Great place for family to shop. Copelands bistro is a good place to eat at.

This is a perfect stop for a road trip. Plenty of food, shopping, and things to look at. Kids love the Arcade, Rocket Fizz, and of course Bass Pro.

We enjoyed the boardwalk, it was clean and there's a lot of stores. They have alot of stores that we don't have here at our local mall. They also have a trolley if you need a ride back and forth to different stores.

Just okay, not much to really brag about. Nike outlet is always a bang for your buck. Wish they would have had more to offer, I really looked forward to going and spending more time.

Great stores, fun food items, and an easy walk. This place is relaxing and it had great deals in the outlet stores. The Bass Pro Shop is incredible.

It was a decent size outlet mall with a variety of restaurants. We ended up at hooters. Your right across the river from casinos even though I don't gamble. If shopping is your thing, this mall has a lot of it. We went weeks before...More

Nice views of the river. Great shopping. Nike, Kay's Jewelry Outlet, under armour, and plenty places for snacking or dining in. Will return

After flying in for business i stopped here to pass the time. Very scenic with decent shops. Just your typical outlet shopping mall with a regal theater.

There are a lot of clothing stores to shop at. There are also many restaurants on the boardwalk. There is also a casino on the property that is next to the boardwalk. It is a short drive to downtown and there are things to... More

I am a weekend walker and I frequently walk the red river trails, Texas street bridge and through the Boardwalk early in the mornings before the shops open. My question is, do you mind walkers using the boardwalk pathways before the shops open?

That would be a good time to walk I don't see a problem with walking it in the morning time to enjoy piece and quiet and nothing like morning air.

The funny bone used to be at the boardwalk but not anymore. The closest I know is The Improv in Dallas
