The staff here were friendly and helpful. The park was ok. Only one bathhouse for 50 sites and a long walk when the cut through path was wet. Bath house old but clean. Hot water showers nice. Not sure about electric as our microwave seemed...More

Our campsite was next to a nasty lagoon, the park does not appear to be well-kept and the ride to the park is through oil refineries and small towns which appear to be very economically depressed and offer little as far as good places to...More

Stayed here 3 nights. Quiet campground with plenty of space between sites, not far from NOLA. We stayed here again if we are in the area.

Nice, clean State Park. Not far from New Orleans yet feels like being out in the country (because it is 😀) The bath house is older but extremely clean, laundry facilities are available and reasonable. We enjoyed a week here in the cool of the...More

We spent the first 2 nights of our trip in CBD and the last 2 nights here. The campground was cheaper, cleaner, and quieter. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to New Orleans.

A very friendly, clean State Park. The camping sites are very roomy, restrooms and showers clean and a nice laundry area. The Camp hosts were very nice and helpful. I would not hesitate to go back. The only drawback is no sewer hook up- but...More

Not in the park proper but within a few miles. There are battlefields to find and explore. And of course New Orleans 😁
