This place is wonderful. What a treat to see such a small distillery and get to hear about the process from such a passionate and knowledgeable person. Patricio was able to deliver the whole tour in impeccable English and he was very entertaining.

We had previously agreed that we would not buy a bottle. However, Patricio's enthused explanation of the quality of Los Osuna that we came back with a bottle of the añejo (a purchase we did NOT regret).

What a lovely morning sampling some great tequila in a natural setting.

The tour and 3 samples is a bargain for 200 pesos. We negotiated a taxi there and back from the Zona Dorada for 1200 pesos.

This is a great place to come to. I am not a tequila drinker but this is totally different than anything you will get anywhere else. The people who own this establishment ,ent are wonderful and have become good friends over the years, I have bought a great deal of tequila from them as well as many pieces of jewellery. The quality is wonderful and you do not have to worry about that at all. The pieces I have bought has long stood the test of time. The tour company was vista tours. Our driver was Victor and guide was Sussana. Victor was sweet and very helpful. The lady was very pushy with sales and rather made one feel uncomfortable. This tequila is now being sold in the USA in Minisota so will have to check that out and miss Mazatlan!!!

Drinking tequila and visiting the grounds of Los Osuna are only a few of the sights to see in the La Noria area. They make Tequila the old fashion way with no added ingredients. Los Osuna is a family run Vinata since 1894. The family also runs the nearby horse and ATV rides and zip lines. When your done sipping tequila or if you are hungry before stop at the restaurant just pass the gateway to La Noria and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Arrived before 10 am. We were the first tourists of the day. The shots of tequila included with admission were great. My mother bought the 70$ usd premium anejo, and she is not a tequila fan. They have old equipment that was used by previous generations to process blue agave. They also have a jewelry store, I bought a necklace for my wife. The staff is friendly, I enjoyed thier company.

This tour was part of a package deal after zip lining and a snack. The tour was informative, our tour guide Carlos was delightful, the grounds beautiful. BewareOf the resident vendors selling vanilla on their grounds. The purchased product tastes like a very watered down version of vanilla and IS NOT the product you are given as a sample.

We had a private driver for the day (Oscar) that took us to the tequila tour at Los
Very interesting and enjoyable tour by Daniel. He had so much to say and show us during a private tour just the 2 of us. We are in the process of buying a home in Mazatlan, and now we are out of the only tequila that we will drink, sip, do shots! YIKES as soon as we fly down to sign final papers, we will be going back to buy more. Only 2 places in the U.S. That ship and sell, pricey! In the Village, we went to one of the oldest churches, leather shop, man selling ears of corn for 1 peso. Then on our way back we stopped for an incredible, delicious, homemade meal. It was on the main road, one lady serving and working out of her home, while her animals walked around!!! Another place to revisit!!!

Drove out on our own and took the tour of the this historic facility. The trip out to Los Osuna from Mazatlan is approx 35 minutes. Daniel was our tour guide and provided us an very informative tour and walked us through the whole process from start to finish. I've taken this tour several times and learn something new about blue agave every time! Highly recommend the experience as you will gain a whole new perspective and appreciation of "tequila" once you have taken the tour. Thanks Daniel for the great tour!

If you are a fan of tequila then this is a tour for you. Your guide picks you up from the hotel and gives you a nice history lesson as you travel into the lush jungle. You arrive at a quaint Tequila farm which reminded me of an estate winery in BC. After the tour of the distillary you are invited to share some tequila and listen to some music. The tequila was so good and I would recommend buying a bottle or 2, considering that you will have a difficult time finding this small batch tequila outside of Mazatlan.

About an hour to the east of Mazatlan is a Blue Agave distillery, making Blue Agave distilled spirit. The spirit is the same as Tequila, but because it is not made in the region around Tequila (which is 100s of miles/kilometers to the southeast) the spirit made at Los Osuna cannot be called Tequila (similar to how sparkling wine cannot be called Champagne if it is not produced in the Champagne area of France). The distillery offers an hourlong tour of the plant, followed by a tasting session to taste the final product (with an opportunity to purchase, of course). If you're looking for something off-the-beaten-track in Mazatlan, consider going to this distillery. The distillery is located on the "La Vinata" estate, about 45mins east of Mazatlan, just before the town of "La Noria." One needs to use a small country road to get to the distillery.

A must do when you are in Mazatlan, Our private tour guide (Akino Montiel - 624-122-0915) was very informative and he provided us with a lot of information on how tequila is made from the grass root plant to the wonderful liquor. The sample shots is a bonus at the end as it allows you to taste the different types of tequila and decide which bottle(s) you might like to purchase.
