We purchased a Groupon for this plantation tour, and it did not disappoint! We were initially interested because of the movie "Django Unchained", which was partially shot at this location. Our tour guide (Desiree) also happened to be in this film as an extra! She...More

Evergreen was the first of seven plantations we saw in a three-day car trip up the Mississippi from New Orleans. The "big house" is relatively small as plantation houses go, but the plantation is remarkable for its completeness, including an oak-lined "street" of 22 original...More

My Wife and I, visiting from Scotland had the pleasure of Desiree Edwards all to ourselves, just the 3 of us so very close and personal, but doesn't detract from the fact that any number in a group would be captivated by her, so knowlegable...More

The weather barely cooperated, but our tour guide Ronnie did. She was kind and patient. The plantation is beautifully maintained and well preserved. It is like going back it time. So glad that I was able to take this in.

Great trip to Evergreen. Our tour guide was one of the most knowledgable people. Her American history was amazing. We could have listened to her for ages. A great trip for us all
