This isn't the crazy fan/speed boat type tour in which the guide jumps into the water to wrestle gators. Instead, this is a well-curated tour with a knowledgeable guide (Captain Danny was amazing, and if you can I would try to request him, though not...More

We booked this tour at the last minute and were glad we did. Our tour guide, I think Brian, was very knowledgeable, interacting, and really enjoys what he does. He brought his own collection of turtles, snakes and an alligator on the tour.

This tour was very informational and we saw many gators! The guide also had a couple of salamanders to show us and a small gator and hunting tags to show us on the boat! Very fun and a great experience.

The cruise through the swamp would probably still be nice for the flora & fauna but you may not see much in the way of alligators only because when it is cold they bury themselves in the mud!
