I signed up for this adventure with great skepticism. I'd done an Everglades air boat several years ago and didn't really enjoy it that much. Their intent seemed to be to terrify me. This was so different. We were picked up in a comfortable bus...More

I took my 14 year old daughter and her best friend on the small airboat tour. It was wonderful! The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and animals. He allowed the girls to ask as many questions as they wanted and to handle a...More

The shuttle ride there was a terrible experience however you’re not going to get an uber/Lyft for a better price. The boat/swamp experience itself was unbelievable! We loved our captain! He was born and raised on the swamps we toured and was so educated about...More

This was awesome! It was a large comfy coach bus, but Gary drove and interacted as if it was only a couple of us, making it feel like a intimate tour, even though there were alot more of us (he was awesome!)! He was full...More

Beautiful house- with a well done guided tour. Definitely have a mint julep at the end! The oaks are gorgeous. They do a good job trying to cover both the plantation owners and slaves in the experience . The sugar cane movie offered on the...More

Our guide was Todd, he was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. Loved riding in the 6 person airboat. The sawmp was surprisingly beautiful and peaceful.

The day started in a conundrum. There was miscommunication from their end of where we were going. They took us to the wrong plantation!! We really wanted to go to oak Alley. The driver called another driver, and they quickly got us a ride to...More

I always wanted to ride an airboat since watching the TV series Everglades. The Airboat Swamp Tour was a unique, memorable experience. Even though we were in a 16 passenger boat, the Captain (don’t recall name given) was able to thrill the kids with spins,...More

After the boat tour (1-2 hour tour depending upon what you booked) you leave within 15-20 minutes and go straight back. Depending upon how many hotel drop off there are I would plan for being home 1 hour after you leave at... More

They make a brief stop at a park that serves soft drinks and beignets. Not sure if they have anything else or not. Because of the crowd we did not get anything.

What Janet A recommends sounds great. If you do not want to get your own car ask in NO for tours that suit you. There are many agents all offering similar stuff. For the swamp tour I would highly recommend to pay the extra... More
