You're driving through Opelousas and There it Is - Beautiful St. Landry, over 100 years old and such a marvelous site. The history is interesting and a reminder of the Catholic influence that is Louisiana.

Drove to Opelousas from Lafayette for a day trip. The church is beautiful and worth understanding the history. Also took a stroll through the unique cemetery next door.

Pretty building, nice finishes inside. Very majestic and especially not a church I would find in Opelousas, La. The father was very nice and seemed like a genuine guy.

A wonderful piece of history and the Catholic community. Large marble columns line the pews and wonderful stain glass windows reach for the sky in this church. Multiple masses and a connection to Notre Dame in Paris.

Great home for your spiritual needs. Parish life is growing every day and more and more young families can be seen at weekly masses.
