I had to be in Nola for business and added a few days to do some bird watching. There's lots of bird watching near Nola! The floating cabins sounded like fun. We enjoyed our stay there. The cabins are super well built, with what seems...More

Most sites are excellent; I can tell you that site 98 is set up backwards so your grill, table, etc. would be on the opposite side of your door - which would open straight into the woods. As would your awning. So don’t take that...More

This park is a beautiful preservation of Louisiana forest and wetlands. It has beautiful picnic areas, clean restrooms and an RV Park. Several areas to fish are available. We have had church picnics there and it was great in the Spring and Fall for such...More

If you are travelling in an RV or camping, private sites in new orleans are really expensive. This park is lovely, cheap, immaculate, great value. 10 mins drive to the ferry at algiers point, safe parking and a one dollar ferry fee puts you in...More

We stayed in one of the cabins at Bayou Segnette State Park and it was fantastic! The cabin is literally over the water on a scenic waterway and the view is just gorgeous! Two bedrooms, one with 2 sets of bunk beds, full bathroom and...More

The park and cabins are lovely. On the weekend however there is non-stop noise from the swamp tours riding up and down the canal. Many boats ignore the no-wake signs. The week was very quiet but the weekend was horrible. I would never stay there...More

Stayed here for the first 2 weeks in February. We were in site 9 next to bathrooms and playground. On this site the picnic table and grill are on the opposite side of the RV which is very inconvenient. Many sites have wooden platforms next...More

No. If you have a vehicle there are several Catholic Churches nearby, St. Bonaventure and Assumption of Mary, both in Avondale and Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Westwego.
