First activity upon arrival in town. Beautiful old looking schooner. Although the ship is not that old. The weather was beautiful, warm and sunny ,with a slight breeze. The captain,Brad and his first mate Bob were first class. Both very knowledgeable and entertaining. The passengers were all asked to participate in the raising of the sails and steering the ship. We... More

We went on a 3 pm sailing because the winds are better then, and had a great time with good winds. The boat holds up to 20 or so guests, and we had about that many. The captain was pretty funny and we learned about the boat and the harbor. Our teen and adult grandsons helped hoist the sails, and... More

My wife and I truly enjoyed the casual sailing trip out of Booth Bay. It lasted about 2 hours and you can help steer or pull up sails if you want. The boat holds 28 passengers. There are no bad seats. You can bring your own wine and beer and food. My wife and I brought a bottle of wine... More

The captains were friendly and engaging, they were knowledgeable about the history of the area and islands. My husband got to help raise the sails! We loved it completely!

Wonderful evening sail and view of fireworks in Boothbay Harbor on the Fourth. Definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoys the water and a bit of maritime history.

Excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly! Carter was great at including the passengers in helping with the sails if they wanted. He was so good with the ropes. The captain was very knowledgeable too and gave a great tour. The boat was very comfortable.

We sailed on 6/29 at 12:30 with Captain Bradley and Crewman Carter. This was a very enjoyable sail with wonderful views of the visiting Windjammers. Captain Bradley was very assured with the boat and very relaxed and friendly with the riders. Crewman Carter worked the ropes and kept us up to date on what we were seeing. . He also... More

The day was so good that we decided to take a sail on the Eastwind Schooner in Boothbay Harbor. It was lovely. The captain and his first mate Carter were very professional, friendly and funny. I highly recommend this trip.

We chose the Schooner Eastwind based on TripAdvisor Ratings. The staff in the booth were friendly and a pleasure to chat with. We were also given some advice on ways to prevent motion sickness since we had a 12 year old that was nervous(to date, nobody has gotten sick on the ship!) The Captain of the ship had a great...
