Come sailing on Maine's last sailing wooden lobsterboat, the Sarah Mead! We will catch wind, laughter and maybe some lobster on your trip (it's called fishing for a reason). Seals, porpoise, lighthouses and other magnificent vessels around Boothbay Harbor are also typically visible.

My wife, 8-year-old daughter, and I had a wonderful morning sail on the bay. Hauling in the lobster pots was both fun and educational. And the captain and mate were both great. We had a blast.

Sailing the way it as meant to be done! The ride on the Sarah Mead provided the same 'tour' as the other boats, but this sail was more intimate (a smaller vessel means less passengers) and had less restrictions (we could actually put our feet...More

Captain Nate made our morning great! Even with heavy fog, it was still the highlight of our trip to Maine. Beautiful boat. Such fun to catch a lobster! And he patiently answered all our questions.

Capt Sara and deckhand Carter made our trip a great 2 hours. They were full of fun facts about the islands all around boothbay harbor and about lobstering in Maine. Can't wait to go again!

The crew was so good with our boys (9,7,5) and made sure they had a great time. It was too cold to have lobsters in the traps but the fun was not diminished.

This was our second sail with Captain Nate on the Sarah Meade and it didn't fail to impress. We love the genuine hospitality of the crew, the authentic nature of the boat and of course, the beautiful coast and waters of Boothbay. We 100% plan...More
