Rufus Porter was an inventor, founder of Scientific American, and a self-taught muralist. This charming little museum collection spotlights his discoveries and his art. I first visited in 2017 to attend one of a series of folk art classes that the museum sponsors for a week in July, and again last week. The gift shop has a nice selection of books and some handmade items from local artists. I've enjoyed all the classes that I have taken, and look forward to visiting Bridgton again next year.…
