Sweet antiques at reasonable prices? Who would have thought such a thing in this era of overpriced antique shops, hoping to make a killing from the tourist trade. A thrift shopper for over a half century, I rarely go into antique shops simply because the prices are usually so high, compared to what I can buy the same thing for in a thrift shop. But this sweet Main Street Mercantile (in two separate store fronts) has wonderful treasures at prices that are beyond fair. Yes, they are more expensive than thrift shops, of course, but they are also much more reasonably priced than most of the antique shops I have been to in Maine. And the selection in the multi-vendor shop is just wonderful and always changing. I never thought I would give an antique shop a five-star rating, but here it is!

Love these little shops. Plenty to choose from, don't visit just one, there is another one just down the street. Wide variety of items, vintage, old, and antique and interesting!

I love going into this place. I cannot pass without stopping. It has a very pleasant arrangement of vendors, open and easy to move around among the interesting treasures. From old wooden planks and doors to jewlery, junktique goods that are in excellent shape and some very fine antiques. Nice "Maine woods" antique items, including blankets and quilts, boxes and a woolen jacket or shirt or two. Also, don't miss the corner of low-priced old barbies and other modern dolls and doll clothes, some doll furniture. A great corner for a 7 year old and up, as a reward for following you around the Bridgton street of antiques. Very pleasant.

Wonderful Antique Shop on Main Street in Bridgton. An absolutely wide variety of items to choose from. And if you don't find what you are looking for the Sales Person is more than happy to assist you. Come in and browse, you will be pleasantly surprised! And don't forget the additional furniture area in the back building during the summer months.
