An absolute must do if you're in the area, you are a nature lover and want a healthy dose of exercise with the hefty reward of incredible ocean views at the end of your hike up the mountain.

Beautiful! Spent half day hiking (Oceanview Hike). Hike was challenging (though we saw all ages, including retirees and kids) but worth the effort! The summit is breathtaking and includes beautiful views of the ocean and Camden Bay. On the east side of the park there...More

Today I drove up to Mt. Battie and was so blown away how beautiful the view of the island, Camden, and the surround area was! Totally worth the entrance fee of $6!

We come here every year, and love it. The camp staff are great, and the place is clean. Very convenient to going into the cute little town of Camden, and exploring the many lakes. A trip up to Mt. Batty and that beautiful view is...More

There is a charge to get into park, $6 per adult for non-residents, $1 for child. Lots of views and trails, well taken care of, has restroom. Nice place on a good day for getting exercise.

We have camped there several times in the past, but now in our 70s were glad to be able to drive to the top of Mount Battie to enjoy the views of Camden, Rockport, and Penobscot Bay

We have set up a buffet line/BBQ for a Company Motorcycle Ride a couple of times here. Makes for a great destination spot. Cross the street and climb Mt. Batte while you are here.

Don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful day and a great hike. But we had to pay $6 per person to walk in the woods and being from Vermont we aren't used to that. The map was also difficult to figure out until we...More

The hike up Mt. Megunticook trail was steep in parts, but the stunning panoramic views of the ocean and harbor were worth it. Definitely bring sturdy shoes, plenty of water & some bug spray.

I have never been there in the winter, but I am sure they allow winter hiking or X Country skiing, except this winter they have 3 feet or more of snow... could make it difficult.

We do not camp so we didn't pay close attention to that information other than they do appear to allow campers and I think they had electricity. Your best bet would be to contact the State Park directly for that long of a... More
