The mansion is ok to visit if your already at the park. Not much to really see unless your really into history.

It is cool to see. Years ago you could explore the mansion but it is now fenced off due to structure being unsafe. There are nearby forts to explore. You can have a picnic below by the beach. Beautiful Views.

Beautiful! This interesting nook just spurs the imagination. Great for picnics. Bring a pair of sturdy shoes.

I love seeing old buildings and reading about the history associated with it. The building is fenced off to protect from vandalism but we enjoyed the interpretive signage and seeing this old mansion.

You have to use your imagination to see what this house would have looked like in it's hey day. Fenced off. You can walk around it but it's really only a quick 5-10 minute excursion.

Very evocative ruins in the middle of a large and very well kept and interesting public park. Great place for kids to burn off energy - and hey, you can see the light house while you're there!
