We had an amazing family/friends trip with Adventure Bound. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We spent the night in the bunk camps prior to our rafting. Bathrooms were clean, showers worked well. The location has extra amenities to entertain the kids - pool, basketball, climbing wall, cornhole, fire pit, frisbee golf. Breakfast came with our trip the next morning - coffee, orange juice, eggs, bacon, home fries and French toast. We had children ages 6,8,10, and 12. The older boys joined their dads for the upper part of the rapids, the younger girls and moms jumped on down the river. It was a perfect fit for everyone, Morgan and Beckham went out of their way to make sure we knew all the options, did an amazing job guiding us for a perfect day on the water. We stopped at a cliff jumping into pools area (and they had gummies for the kids) and then we stopped at a quiet beach for a fire with grilled Chechen and salad lunch, topped off with a cookie. They blew up a kayak for TG he kids to paddle around in the slower area. Hats off to this company for making us forget about the craziness of 2020 and enjoy the trip. We will be back!…

Adventure Bound is an amazing outdoor activity company who employs the most fantastic staff that enables everyone to have a great time. The entirety of the crew wear an abundance of hats such as guides, then cooks, then clean up, then rock supervisors, to waking up early and preparing breakfast. The crew is customer centered, professional, and very fun. A group of 12 in total ventured the 4.5 hour trek to Adventure Bound. We arrived about 8am, provided our information, and shortly thereafter a short presentation was given prior to be given our wet suits to change into. Once we were suited, us as well as all other groups, a safety presentation was given. People were then directed to select your paddle, life jacket, and a helmet just prior to boarding the buses, or in our case, the van since we were heading to Dead River. There were several groups scheduled to raft but the logistics went made the trek to the river smooth. Joe was an amazing gentleman and guide. He barked his orders to keep us safe as we navigated through some tremendous rapids. The river and the scenery around the banks were beautiful. As someone shared, the lunch and dinner (if you choose to stay over) were simple but satisfying. We selected to stay the night. It was not roughing it too much....running water, toilets, showers, volleyball, pool, hot tub, large lodge, basketball, frisbee golf, or if you choose, plenty of space to lounge and take in the wilderness. Breakfast ran just as smooth. A little area to buy souvenirs, candy for the kids, or just to chat it up. Little to no internet. The groups of kids varied, but all were respectful and fun to watch and talk to. This is a top notch place. Thanks very much to the crew!…

Catering to youth groups their guided rafting trips come in at nearly half the price of other rafting companies. Very fun and experienced guides expertly lead you down the river. Great lunch and free wetsuits and youtube video of your experience.

Spent a great Father/Son weekend and had a great time. Accommodations and food are purposely simple and adequate. This is a great mix of "roughing it" without sleeping on the ground or having to cook over a fire. Rafting the Kennebec is fun for a group; Thrilling but not treacherous; perfect for families with teens. The Guides and Staff were friendly and knowledgable. The food was adequate, but not gourmet. The cabins, grounds and bathrooms were clean and adequate. If you need 4-5 Star service, this is not for you. If you want to enjoy time with friends without modern complications this will work. Prices are more than Fair. …
