We live close by and bring our family to Sebago State Park a few times a year. Great for family outings.

This state park has a beautiful lakefront. The lake itself is spectacular. The bathhouse facilities were very clean. And the hiking trails are beautiful this time of year. Note that there is very little or in many cases no foliage at all between RV campsites. Our only quibble is that our electrical hook-up surge protector indicated that the electric pedestal in our campsite is miswired - the protector indicated reverse polarity. We checked the pedestals in the surrounding campsites and the surge protector indicated that those, too, have reverse polarity. Perhaps that doesn't matter - we don't know - but didn't want to chance damage to our trailer wiring and appliances, etc. And so although we paid for an electrical hook-up we didn't use it during our stay. In our brief interaction with a park ranger he was polite, courteous, extremely efficient, and professional. All in all we are very impressed with Maine's state parks. And we look forward to return visits someday.

I stay at state parks often but this was my first stay here. Stayed two nights, staff was friendly, but it has more of a commercialized campground feel. Partying all night, dirty bathroom & just rude campers is not typical for state campgrounds I have stayed at in Maine. Bathrooms say they are cleaned at certain times but the men’s room couldn’t be used as some nasty camper smeared literally sh*t on the floor and walls. Other than that our stay was decent, beautiful lake, beautiful views. Keep in mind you are going to be crammed right in close together which is not how I prefer to camp.
