I did not see many birds. The hiking trails very easy to navigate and was very quiet. They also had a nice gift shop and picnic tables if you bring a lunch.

Great little hideaway, quirky and sentimental. There are some amazing birds to see and some nice walking trails. Bring big spray and a good pair of shoes...lots of ground roots. Definitely a hidden gem, Maine style

Bugs are fierce, so bring bug spray. There are a couple of miles of walking trails. Peaceful place, very relaxing.

Birdsacre is about a 200 acre sanctuary a short drive from Ellsworth and is definitely worth the visit. The museum has lots of displays (birds, bird egg collection, bird nests, historical information about the life of Cordelia Starwood, etc.). Great place for childern (and adults)...More
