Went today for the $3.50 walking tour. It was just the three of us and we had a great time. We had several samples each plus a free gift at the end. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is they don't tell you what the gift is until you get it. Be prepared to wear a hair... More

We visit Wilbur's whenever we go to Freeport. The selection is wonderful and the personnel are as sweet as the confections. Highly recommend a visit!

Yum, the smell of chocolate fills your senses when you walk in. They have the cutest souvenirs in this quaint shop and the chocolate selection is great. It is too bad I was not there on a Saturday when you can do a tour of the factory. I did get to see where they make the chocolate through the viewing... More

Located in a large old house (it seems) Watch for the entrance from US 1. Easy to miss. Lots of chocolate products as well as other Made in Maine items. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a $12 minimum purchase for use of credit card. Have your photo made in the lighthouse cutout. Recommend you stop here.

While we were in Freeport we stopped by the Wilbur Candy Company. They have a large selection of locally made candies and the prices are reasonable for a tourist area. I like the mint julip truffle.

We stopped by here for a friend who wanted the chocolate covered blueberries. They are wonderful! The staff was friendly and the store was very clean. There were so many varieties of chocolates - cover berries, malted balls, caramels. They had small sizes so you could buy many different kinds. They also had jams, flavored popcorns, and other gifts. Would... More

Wilbur's is a must see on our way home from Freeport. First order of business is to pick up a fresh blueberry pie for those we left at home. There are all kinds of chocolates made with the freshest of local ingredients. The chocolate covered blueberries are a-ma-zing! Lovely selection of chocolates and other candies appropriate for gift giving. A... More

Take time for the tour! We saw the candy being made and the best part was all the sampling. So many wonderful confections

Must stop for dark chocolate with sea salt. They have tons of chocolate - even chocolate covered blueberries. Had to buy a can of Moxie - soft drink of Maine. Very different than soda we are used to.
