Unlike a lot of small, mill towns throughout the Northeast, Gardiner downtown seems to be quite active with nearly all downtown storefronts filled and doing business. A great variety of stores, mostly locally owned, which is nice. Make sure you walk down to the riverfront....More

Gardiner's really working become a neat destination, especially for art and good food, as well as interesting clothing options. Its worth a visit.
