We went here one afternoon just to walk around and visit the small playground. We were by the water and it was pretty cold. My grandkids played in the playground for a bit. I think this would be nice to bring your grill (they do...More

Must see while in Moosehead Region. Easy hikes/walks. We walked the beaches and trails. Would be a great place to camp.

It is managed and run so very well. A beautiful treasure. One of the best state parks I have seen. I highly recommend a visit.

Clean well maintained park with so much to do. We only came for the day but if I was camping or boating I'm sure I would have been pleased with the facilities. They looked impeccable.

$7 p/adult non residents Spent a few hours having a picnic at the beach area. Clean beautiful views and restrooms. Saw lots of deer. There was an area to launch kayaks but the wind was wicked strong and lake looked like ocean with white caps.

There are no on-site hook ups. There is water dispersed around the campground, very nice pit toilets adjacent to campsites, and a bathhouse at the beginning of the entrance to the campground. But the sites are beautiful.

We have a 27' camper and it was easy. The staff there is also very helpful and can help direct you if you ask. The first time we drove our camper, we got a flat on the big rocks by the entrance (watch out for them) and it... More
