Poor management!!!!!
Aug. 2020
The Preserve is very poorly managed. No designated parking, so people park on the vegetation. Broken glass covers the area from people trying to "seed" seaglass. Bushes smell of urine and trash is not packed out. Such a shame.

Really cool spot

A little tricky to find, but great views from a beach you actually drive onto. Fun to feel the difference in water temperature on either side of the tiny cape. Family friendly.

Small Scenic Preserve Off the Beaten Path
Jul. 2018 • Friends
On a rainy summer mid-afternoon, we found this rare gem on the northern shores of Maine’s Casco Bay. The 4-acre (1.6 ha) preserve had limited parking on the 0.4-mile (0.6 km) barrier beach, which protected a salt marsh busy with wildlife. The scenic beach was all sand and pebbles, the views shrouded in fog. The preserve had one memorial bench, but no shade, no restrooms, and no other amenities. We liked that. It’s a nature preserve after all
