Walker's Point is a wonderful place for the Bush family to call home, part of the time. George W. was there when we were visiting. We were told that if 3 flags were flying that it meant 1 of the Presidents was there. The US...More

Enjoyed seeing the Bush family’s homes from our Lobster Tour Boat. Also enjoyed the amazing oceanfront drive along Ocean Ave. to view the homes from the road. A must see while in the area.

You cannot go in, of course, but there is a pullout to see the Bush compound. It's on Ocean Avenue, take first right after bridge in Kennebunk Center if coming from south and just keep going. Can't miss it.

It's a beautiful "neighborhood" and there is an easily accessible area to park to take photos. It's truly a compound. We saw lots of dark vans and SUVs parked near the gates and some people walking around near the big house. Worth a stop if...More

The Walker family was very smart when they purchased that piece of property 100+ years ago! I'm sure the family has enjoyed many happy (and sad) times there. We saw the Secret Service vehicles so we assume G.H.W. Bush was home. I hope he is...More

Of course you can't go on the grounds unless you have a special invitation but there is a pull off where you can stop and take a picture. It's a fantastic piece of property and we wish GHWB the best!

This part of the coastline is very wild and rugged and Walkers Point sits on its own rocks, interesting to see where a famous person lives if only from a distance. There are good pull ins which allow you to take in the view safely....More

Bike or walk there and take in the views. Beautiful property and makes you feel a little extra bit of patriotism when viewing the property.

Walkers' Point, the Bush family summer home, is set against the Atlantic Ocean in a picture postcard manner. We are unafilliated voters, but this property feels like you are witnessing history and possibly catching sight of one of our Presidents, as well as staring at...More

This will not allow posting a link, but do a search on this site for excursions, etc. I would say mainly the beauty--beaches, etc. and FOOD! The food is to die for!
