You can access the garden either by driving your car or by parking below and climbing the 200 plus steps that wind up through trees on the side of the hill. It's a beautiful trail with great stops for photo ops along the way. It's...More

An absolutely perfect setting. Manicured beds and quiet to enjoy. Just shows what good deeds by the ultra rich can provide. A $5 donation is asked. Parking free. The Lodge is open and shows life a 100 or so years ago

It's a long climb up to the top from the parking area on Highway 3, but the views of the harbor below are impressive. The garden itself was much smaller than expected.

WE know this place must be gorgeous at times- but we climbed their 200 steps and very little to see. There is a parking lot where you do not have to climb to enter! Asticou Gardens next doc was in its prime!

Enjoyed the climb and the view. Also the gardens were spectacular as was the history of the place. Truly a find.

Small is indeed beautiful where this garden is concerned. Although a last minute addition to our private drive tour simply because I mentioned I loved gardening, this was memorable & worthy. With twin long borders, mirrored images of each other, full of late summer perennial...More
