Great Beach

Cold water but great spot to sit down and have some family beach time. Ice cream and slush is yummy.

Ogunquit is absolutely Beautiful !! Then we add town government . You are expected to pay for everything , and not just a little. It's really worse than Cape Cod. to park at the beach , it will cost you $15.00if your there for two hours or 12 hours. We just got to the beach and one of the Grand... More

The town is situated on the ocean and it has a beautiful ocean cliff walk of about a mile over to Perkins cove. Unfortunately the town takes advantage of visitors by prohibiting parking near the town and cliff walk. We had to pay $15 to park in the town lot so we could shop in their stores and eat at... More

You can take the trolly and bus to get there. From here you can also take the buses to KennyBunk Port but it will take you 2 hours, buses dont come regularly. Drive its easier. Bring quarters shops don't want to make change and the police actively ticket everyone.

Light sand, surf, lifeguards, snack shops and miles of beach. Tends to get mobbed in the summer but great people watching and beautiful light and surf year round.

Very small area that is claimed by 9am. It's quite a walk from most hotels and the parking is $30 and then when you get there with your chairs, umbrella, etc., there is no place to sit. If you like sitting on the beach go somewhere else.

Everything here is a great location whether you are right on the beach or have to drive a little way to reach it. Parking is easy to find. Center stores and places to eat are plenty. So many places to choose from. The Playhouse is a great way to spend an evening. Shows are wonderful.

Best kept "secret" in Marginal Way beaches. Use those for wadding, exploring. OGT river is a great "lazy river" experience. Take your own inflatables and large umbrellas or canopies - no natural shade. Park WAY away from beach or you will pay $25 - 30 a day ($5 after 6 pm). Get out of the OGT Main beach for dinner... I've traveled a bit and lived in Los Angeles and this beach beats them all! This is especially great for kids - when the tide is low, it leaves behind hundreds of little tide pools, so each kid can essentially have their own little pool! This is great for parents as the water is shallow but kids feel like they... More

Our travel plans are to visit Ogunquit twice a year. Move at your own pace and see and swim at the best beach in Maine. Then take a boat tour, shop in the many shops , eat at so many location, and then take a nap so you can party all night. WoW !
