Perfect beach to walk as far along as you want - sand, sea and sunshine - a cooling breeze and exhilarating after a good night out! Up to 3 miles of clean sand, shallow water, no rocks, beautiful waves, not to mention all the inviting...More

We love riding the river as the tides change. And so fun to see the dramatic changes from high and low tide. At low tide tons of space to play bocce or wander around. Then for peak high tide you need to go way back....More

Really nice beach but access to it is from a very crowded area and the beach itself is jammed on weekends. That all said, what a great beach!

No rocks, no seaweed, no shells and nice firm sand at low tide makes for wonderful walking. The beach is big at low tide and you can easily walk for 3+ miles in each directions. Nice surf with moderate waves makes it a transcendental experience...More

Absolutely beautiful. Second time coming here and is breath taking. Alot of quaint shops, lots of places to eat, even this time of year. Would definitely come again.

Not very crowded when we arrived. But getting packed by noon. We were there in Oct so I can’t imagine how crowded it would be in June or July. Very clean. Lots of seniors. Some tourist. Nice just to hang out on a busy trip.

There is a small lot about a 5 minute walk from the main lot which I think is $15 vs $20 so not too much of a savings. Def better taking the trolley.

Dogs on the beach are allowed in the off season. I do not know when the off season begins and ends, you could probably call the town or Chamber of commerce

We stayed at the Beachmere inn. Not sure of costs. It was really nice. Very well located.
