Idyllic beach .

Stroll or run on this beach when the tide is low, you will have plenty of space. In the off season go anytime. In summer the water is great.

Great for a winter walk at low tide. Just beautiful (and far more peaceful than summer). There was even someone in a wetsuit surfing!

One of the best beaches in the continental US. Hard packed sand is wonderful for a lengthy walk, and the water is free of rock or seaweed. Gentle slope allows for breaking surf and tidal pools at a falling tide. Metered parking is adequate except for peak season, where an overflow lot is a short walk away. Great bathroom facilities... Beautiful, cold day in November. Walked on marginal way, but really prefer the beach. Plenty of free parking. Check the tide tables. We were there at low tide and the beach was huge. Overall, a very lovely, peaceful beach.

Although we love it in summer, the fall was beautiful. Nothing more perfect than a three mile walk with sea air, waves and blue skies.

Nice walking beach for all. Views are endless. Sunsets/Sunrises a joy to watch. Late fall is great time to visit as beach very quiet!

We had a great time at this beach. The tide came in almost to the road and then went out quite far, which made for a dynamic experience. The lifeguards were attentive. There was a designated space where people were asked not to play games so that others could enjoy the calmness of the beach. We met great people here... More

Enjoyed the walk to the beach & on the beach. I went during the off season not anything open on the beach area. Enjoyed watching the surfers. Disappointed that there were not any sea shells.

This is a very pleasant beach with great views. I enjoyed an autumn walk there. However, the facilities were closed by November 3, although the parking lot was open. Definitely a great place for exercise by the shore.
