We were out for a fall foliage ride and saw the sign. On our way up Wheeler Hill about a mile from Dagget Rock we had a bobcat cross the road in front of us. It was a beautiful walk closer to a third of a mile but easy and well worth the trip.

Very easy to find - Google Maps led us right there but there is good road signage additionally. The walk is short and only moderately steep and all of a sudden you turn a corner and spot it. It was way bigger than we were expecting and we enjoyed being able to walk through the split down the middle. While I thought we could climb up and walk on top, it is really high and there are sharp drop offs everywhere so we kept the kids off it. Still fascinating!

There is a short hike up a steep hill to see this large boulder. It is huge. This won't take up your whole day, plan ahead and visit some other sites in the area, such as Small falls, The , Appalachian Trail etc.
