This place is definitely a hidden gem in Portland. There are no signs for it; it's right at the end of a residential street in Portland (Rowe Avenue). When you first arrive, you have to hike through a field of weeds first before getting to a heavily wooded area. Then it's about 5-10 minutes of easy hiking through the wooded... More

Put 167 Rowe ave into your gps and park at the end of the street in the dirt area. This was a hidden gem and worth the walk it was less than 1/2 mile from the car. Peaceful and a grate place to stop and take some pictures I would highly recommend it!

Grades on the dirt trails were easy to moderate. The lush summer canopy was mostly oak and pine. Stone steps went to the base of the falls. Flow... More

We went here following the other great reviews of this secluded spot. As others mentioned it's a really sweet spot. However make sure you're going to the right place, the TripAdvisor maps makes it look like it's actually in the downtown area near Lincoln Park, but that's not true (it's just the "city center" marker, I guess...). It's really down... More

Who knew I could write a Trip Advisor review of one of my favorite walking places in the city ! The only disadvantage to this, is that by describing it here, it could increase the people-traffic there. I most like the experience of visiting when its just me and the falls. They are more of a cascade, really. About 100... More

Great trails, quiet and well maintained. Good long walks with the dog bring me here during the warmer months.
