Anniversary dinner

We came here for our anniversary dinner, we had steamers, lobster and a scallop dinner. Food was good along with the staff. We will return.

We had lunch at DiMillo's after taking a City Tour. Of course in Maine you must have Clam Chowder, my husband ordered it and it was the best he had ever tasted. I had the French Onion soup which was also delicious. Service was excellent prices were very reasonable.

You can't beat the location of this marina - it's right downtown and you can walk to many of Portland's attractions and restaurants. It's a well run place and has a restaurant on site (which we did not have a chance to try.) The downsides are that it is crazy expensive and there is a giant public parking lot at... More

We ended up here after the restaurant we were going to go to was closed. Are we glad we did. Delcious Lazy Lobster, fabulous seafood scampi, excellent house wine, and a view of the water! Wasn't ready for the rocking of the boat with the wake, so be prepared for the gentle sway as you eat. We almost turned around... More

Went on my final night of my business trip after many recommendations. Instead of waiting for a table I went into the bar area and sat on a comfortable sofa and had a meal there, overlooking the water while a nice fire kept me warm. The food was ample and delicious. Definitely a place to have a special occasion meal... More

Dinners are very good, but this particular evening we went for dessert and coffee with out of town friends. Staff was happy to accommodate, even though not getting full meal. Desserts were delicious, nice choices. We were not rushed from our table. In all, a very pleasant experience.

DiMillo's was located right on the waterfront. The food was great! I had the mussel roll with bacon and cheese and it was outstanding. The service was also excellent.

Had a great table overlooking the water -- went to have lunch (2 couples). Food was OK but not as good as I was expecting. Had the fried clams. Prices were reasonable and a good selection of items to choose from.

Demillo's is one of the major attractions on Commerce Street. The restaurant is actually built on a large boat, but there was no detectable movement. I had the stuffed lobster, which was delicious. Service was excellent, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. It's a nice restaurant, as opposed to the pub/eats type places that you can find in abundance in... More
