Stopped in for lunch mid- week in March. The atmosphere - on a large ferry boat - can't be beat and the views are great. Staff was very friendly. Clam chowder was on the thick side but very good. Steamers were overcooked and the lobster in the lobster roll was tasteless. So we were disappointed in the food but loved... More

DiMillo's earns it's reputation as a go-to place. When we ate there a couple days ago everything was perfectly prepared. Best clam chowder! And steamed clams done just as they should be. These people know how to cook fish!! And, of course, much of what they serve likely is landed on a nearby wharf. Great setting -- on an old... More

A group of us from out of town went there on the recommendation of one of the locals, and we're glad we followed his advice. I wasn't hungry enough to go for the whole lobster, so I got a bowl of the lobster chowder which was awesome. The chowder was not cheap ($17), but there was probably a whole lobster... More

The restaurant is, quite literally, a boat - one that used to operate as a ferry but was later turned into a floating restaurant. I ate in the lounge area not the main restaurant. NIce happy hour specials, very good food, nice view of the marina/port, and very friendly wait staff. Very good experience - definitely worth returning.

This is a charming place to eat as you can see the ocean and have a great seafood meal. I usually get clams or haddock and they are well prepared and very tasty.

The marina offers a wealth of information about the community that sits around it. They have the usual offerings, boat slips of all sizes, with a wealth of services of the normal for any marine. However this marine sits at the edge of the community of the Old Port with a multiple of restaurants, bars and an array of activities,... More

Stayed here with a boat for two nights. This is a great location for walking the waterfront in Portland. The service was very good and the facility was good with floating docks and on site fueling. If I was needing a place for a couple of nights while in Portland I would not hesitate to go back. Restaurant on site... More
