Nice place for a walk with good views.

We got here about 5:00 in the evening and enjoyed watching the sky change as we walked around this area. The views were extensive and there were lots of happy dogs!

Gorgeous park with a beautiful view of the water! Set up on a hill, a huge playground for young kids! Baseball fields a short walk away. Have a picnic on the hillside or be down by the water! Great place!

Pick up a lunch from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods and head on out the Eastern Promenade to enjoy your lunch and a view. Great walking paths and plenty of happy four legged friends enjoying a stroll.

Discovered this area while on business, thanks for a local i met. What a great find. Drove there and enjoyed coffee and a croissant (from Standard Bakery) and then took a stroll. Great way to relax and a "don't miss". Beautiful area in general with well-maintained older homes.

Free beach. A few activity are possible, as canoa and walk :) It's not huge, but with sand and a few shadow. After 5pm, it's also open for dogs. We've been lucky, as we've found a parking without fee.

Love going there to sit by the water and watch the sail boats and people painting. The scenery is beautiful.

I love coming here after work with the pup and taking a dip! After 5pm it pretty much becomes a dog park, which is great if you're there for yappy-hour. It's cleaner than expected for a city beach but still watch out for leftover food, glass, dead birds, etc.

This is a great beach for walking, reading, and bringing your dog(s). Off-season. It's quiet and has nice views. Walk briskly during winter.

Beach is smaller than we expected and we wanted to search for sea glass but we were too late in the day for it. Nice views and worth a quick stop which is all we had time for.

Beautiful views from one of Maine's lesser beaches. The East End Beach is loved by dogs and children. Most others think it's a little gross, but it's on the Peninsula, so it's hard to complain about a beach you can walk to in less than a mile.
