Definitely a great alternative to see the Bay and the Islands with a better fee than other tours. The only downfall is that getting on the boat is a little hectic, as a large crowd formed and there was not rhyme or reason to the line. Other patrons need to have respect for their fellow passengers and keep in mind... More

Our family of four enjoyed our day trip to Bailey's Island - it exceeded our expectations. There's so much to see, a lot of history, and wildlife - worth the trip!

Great Boat tour. We learned so much about the history of the area, enjoyed seeing the light houses, our tour guide was very informative. The best part was the price was excellent for what you got. We are still talking about our tour.

We had a very nice trip to Peaks Island. Took the ferry over, explored the island a bit, shopped a little, ate lunch and then returned to Portland via the ferry. There wasn't a whole lot to do on the Island, but we had never been there and wanted to check it out. If I went again, I would definitely... More

I took my family out on the mailboat cruise because it had such great reviews, and it did not disappoint! First, for $4.00 you can bring your dog. It stops at five islands, and the captain gives nice anecdotes about each. It's very pleasant in nice weather. Our three hour cruise was really nice, and we got to stop for... More

This is a nice cruise with some narration to point our special areas, historical info, etc. We do it every August when we're in Portland. Groupon offers a great deal-- two tickets for price of one-- so watch for it if you plan to take this trip. Parking in area near boat terminal is expensive. If you don't mind a... More

Wanted to take 5:45 am ferry to Peaks Island on a Thursday. Arrived at terminal at 5:38 - no one was at the ticket window and had to go looking for someone. When someone came to window they sold me tickets and told me ferry was about to board and nodded their head like I knew where I was going... More

From the Port, there are ferries to the islands in Casco Bay for very reasonable prices. Round trip for a senior to Great Diamond was only $4.50.

Reasonable fair. Efficient service. No problems. Went as foot passengers. Saw a seal in the harbour, great bonus.

The boat ride was quick and efficient. The folks on the boat were very friendly. The staff where you buy tickets seemed like they were not too interested in helping customers, as the lines were a bit long, and 3-4 folks behind the glass did their best to ignore folks waiting in line.
