Soakology foot sanctuary and teahouse is a spa and teahouse like no other....

Soakology foot sanctuary and teahouse is a spa and teahouse like no other. Sit back in extremely comfortable chairs in our teahouse, sip teas from around the world while snacking on light fare. Our spa is a communal, beautiful environment where you can relax alone or with friends and try one of our many hand made foot soaks. Add a foot lower leg massage or a head neck shoulder massage while sipping any of our teahouse offerings.

So much fun!

We only had time for tea but we had a wonderful experience! The tea was delicious. What a gem of a place! We will be back!

As others have noted, simply making a reservation was problematic - it took several calls. They clearly need some kind of on-line system if they're not able to staff reservations. Also, again as has been mentioned, the reception wasn't very warm. It started by us being warned that the appointments were running late and we could expect a bit of... More

My sister and I come up to Portland from Baltimore for the main purpose of going to Soakology. I recommend to anyone who visits Portland to visit this great place. The employees are extremely nice. It is a unique place. Sara was our massage therapist and she was wonderful. The foot massage was deep and relaxing. Will definitely come back!

The concept is interesting, soaking your feet in different essential oils , herbs and florals. That would be the basic foot spa but one can add massages as well. You will drink tea and relax while soaking your feet. It is a fun thing to do with someone. Best done after a day of walking around.A little pricey though.

I have traveled the world, and make a point of visiting spas (or something similar) everywhere I go. And my soak, with a pumice scrub, was the WORST "treatment" I have ever had. This place is the equivalent of sticking your feet in a copper bowl of tea. Which I could easily do in my own home. The "tool" for... More

This is my third review of Soakology in Portland. One of my favorite places to "relax" and unwind. In my last review, I had to compare the new location to the old location up the street (which had a very "old world" feel, and a much more "spa" feel)- and I stand by that review still--the old location was much,... After a day of walking around the cobblestoned streets in the wrong shoes, I stumbled upon Soakology. It did not take much convincing to get my husband to agree to forgo another museum and get tea and treatments instead. The whole experience was wonderful--we received both foot and shoulder/neck massages. The warm foot soak in large copper tubs was divine... More

This is such a wonderful place. You truly feel like you are going into another world when you walk downstairs into this dimly lit room. Very atmospheric. The soak was absolutely wonderful and the lower leg massage made it even better. The black orange tea was so good that I bought some to go and the Russian tea cookies were... More

Imagine a dimly lit setting. You are sitting in an oversized armchair high off the ground, a warm neck wrap on your shoulders, your feet soaking in a copper tub of petals and aromatherapy oils while soothing spa music plays overhead. THIS is Soakology. And if you haven't been there, you don't know what your'e missing. It's a simple equation:... More

This was my 4th visit to Soakology, my first at this "new" location on Congress Street. I have to say, one of my favorite aspects of Soakology was the intimate, cozy, brick walled basement that gave it such an "old world" feel while in Monument Square, from the old fashioned wooden moose sign they had, to the tiny stairs leading...
