This trip was beyond fun! My husband and I sailed for 4 days/nights on the Stephen Taber and I can't wait to go back. Captain Noah, his wife Jane, and their son are the most hospitable hosts - it's like they run a B&B on...More

We took our daughter and Granddaughter for a wonderful week of sailing in Penobscot Bay, Maine. It was the Captain's Birthday Week cruise and Cap'n Noah didn't disappoint with his favorite selections of gourmet meals, cheeses and wines. A special treat was the lobster bake...More

"Camping out on a historic landmark" is how my husband described it. Definitely not for everybody, but if you don't require luxury amenities, and do appreciate adventure, great food and wine, and enjoy meeting new people, then sailing on the Stephen Taber is for you....More

Our four-night cruise aboard the Stephen Taber was a different sort of getaway for my wife and me, unlike anything we'd done before. And it was wonderful in all respects. Even the tiny cabin space (which we knew in advance would be what it was)...More

I expected different accommodations. I did not think I could not stand up in "cabin". You have to crawl down into you cabin. We were on a wine cruise. We expected more fine meals but what we had was good but fine. Think of it...More

Like another reviewer, I have sailed my entire life in big boats and small. Living in Montana makes it harder to get to the salt, but I have always heard about and wanted to do a windjammer cruise. When my son's wedding was planned for...More

Would never have dreamed an 1871 windjammer vacation would be this much fun. The ship, the crew, the food, the scenery were all fantastic and made that much better as we learned about sailing these wonderful old ships. I will go again!
