We loved the size of this place but the layout gives you the feeling of always being lost, which seems odd as the building layout on the map seems basic. The other concern is, most of the dealers seem to be selling things you would see at a local yard sale v.s. an Antinque place. The last thing that was odd, there is a strong smell of urine in one of the rooms – almost like cat or dog urine. We went down the street and found a much nice place with actual antiques.…

Enjoyed the shopping but found so many vendors carried the same genre of items. Towards the end I tired of looking for that reason. However if one is into just mid 20th c. and later items I imagine it to be a good shopping experience for them.

If you want to go back in time, this is a place to go. Rockland Marketplace is filled with things that people did not want to keep and yet did not have the heart to throw away. Lot's and lot's of stuff that your Aunt Betty may have had 50 or 100 years ago.

We headed to Rockland for Mother's Day. Had a great time at the Rockland Marketplace! 50 or so dealers with a large variety of items - "Antiques, Uniques, Furnishings". There is everything from housewares, records, furniture, dishware, clothing - you name it. Prices are varied though a lot of dealers did have % off. We went back through twice to be sure we didn't miss anything. As it is an antique mall, it probably isn't a great place for wheelchairs, walkers or strollers - lots of stuff "around".…
