Stop in and discover oodles of things about the tides and varied wildlife that depend on them. Rent a canoe and paddle through the marsh. Be sure to wear sunscreen and bug spray and carry along some water and maybe a snack. Its a delight.

This was a wonderful paddle, We rented a canoe but brought our own canoe seats. We paddled all the out to the beach. Just wonderful but make sure you know what the tides are if you are not an experienced paddler. They also rent kayaks. The folks at the center were wonderful.

We brought our own kayaks and put the boats in 200 yards down from Audubon center. We paddled back down toward route 9 then came back out toward ocean. We had to fight the current which was strong especially for our 10 year old. We never made to to the ocean. It was a beautiful paddle - kids loved jumping... More

Not fancy but that's in part what makes this little place so special. A small building (aka shack:) right on the shores of the largest salt water marsh in Maine. Canoe and kayak rentals with life vest help from either volunteers or summer interns. You are guaranteed to see some incredible marsh birds and fauna.

This amazing marsh can be explored by kayaks which can be rented at this Audubon Center, located on the road to the Pine Point Beach. The marsh contains an extensive system of waterways which can be explored at high tide.

I hate to rate an Audubon center this low, but Scarborough Marsh as a place to walk was disappointing. We drove 40 mins down from Brunswick because it's the only Audubon center that allows dogs. It turns out the trail is not ideal - it's fairly overgrown and very short - it took us less than 10 minutes to get... More

An hour and a half kayaking was the perfect amount for us! The price to rent kayaks and canoes was very reasonable!! The equipment was in good shape. We were given a waterproof case for our cell phones - thank you!! We were also given a small map of the marsh waterway as well a guide to identify birds. Paddling... More

The staff is knowledgeable and the canoes are safe. No tipping over or drowning at all. Kids amused, adults engaged. Definitely will do it again when the information imparted begins to fade

There were way too many bugs and the people there were really pushy and annoying. You saw no animals, the only wild life you saw were horse flys which we got attacked by them. It was not a fun experience and I will never go back ever again.
