A Saturday night watching "A Walk in the Woods" was a great way to spend an evening in Stonington. The house was fairly full, and it looks like they will be screening relatively first run or recent run movies over the next several weeks.

We saw a movie here... the venue is delightful and offbeat, and very welcoming and comfortable. It's beautifully restored, and I would recommend a visit to anyone who's in the area!!!

The very opposite of a chain movie theater, in all the best ways. Funky theater, delightful refreshments and, of course, offbeat entertainment. Kudos to Stonington for rescuing a true gem and putting it to good use.

The 2014 summer season so far at the Opera House has been incredibly entertaining. From Shakespeare + Zombies to a moving film about the final days of a local artist, OHA captures the best that Maine theatre, music, and arts has to offer.
