Nice trail but NOISY!

The Trail is along the River, but sandwiched between the River and the highway so it's noisy ... nice fall color!

The river path on Topsham side of the Androscoggin River offers a well-maintained, flat and easy walk between the Swinging Bridge and the head of the dam. The quiet streets of Topsham Heights also offer the possibility of continuing one's walk further afield in a hilly neighborhood. It's a peaceful place for reflection and relaxation. Enjoy the historic bridge crossing... More

I live in the area, and often walk along the Topsham Brunswick Riverwalk. I love the views and sights of the Androscoggin -- which is very significantly cleaner than when I was a kid. The Swinging Bridge is great, it's a footbridge that literally swings as you walk across it, a feature enjoyed by kids of all ages. It was... More

Fishing from the Topsham side is good. The Topsham side has a nice little park where you can picnic and go down to the river. Don't swim although there are two very small beaches. The current is too strong and there is a power producing dam just beyond. The Riverwalk is a wonderful pathway that is wheelchair accessible and good... More

A little gem in the middle of the city. Good fishing and a tidal mud/sand flat to fish off of, or you can choose to brave fishing on the (slippery) rocks.

Walking along the Androscoggin River is lovely and spacious. It would rate 5 stars if it wasn't so noisy. The noise of traffic was too unpeaceful for me.

the trail is so well kept, and the sights are beautiful. The dog park is a wonderful addition. Two dog parks, one for smaller dogs and one for bigger dogs, separated. It is peaceful and fun. Closes after dark. It is cared for all year long even when it snows,

This park is very nice and peaceful, I walk along it during my daily 3 mile loop, and I am never disappointed. It is not lit, so be careful before or after dark, but I do not feel unsafe there.

I live in Brunswick. This is a place locals go to walk their dogs, ride bikes, roller blade, and generally recreate. It is fairly scenic, especially nice around sunset on a clear day, or during work hours on a weekday, when you will be almost alone. The main drawback is that it is close to high speed traffic on US... More

I am a regular visitor since the "bike path" opened about 20 years ago. It has been nicely maintained and improved with new trees, granite benches, athletic fields and dog run enclosures. I have used it as a commute route, bicycling to work and as a walking path. In the winter it is plowed and remains a popular place to... More
