And burn off the calories from Topsham Brunswick's excellent restaurants. This all-pedestrian bridge really swings, offers great natural views, and the occasional flock of ducks. It also links to a natural loop

Lovely little peaceful bridge, just right for streaching your legs after going out to eat at the many Brunswick restaurants. Stop in the center and just enjoy the river view with birds flying by and the sound of the river flowing by. An sign has...More

I revisited this elegantly engineered pedestrians-only bridge across the Androscoggin River after several years. It’s a registered historic landmark; a small plaque provides details. Built in 1892, rebuilt in 1938, it’s 332 feet (101 m) from tower to tower and 520 feet (160 m) from...More

This was a neat bridge to see but not much else right around it. The parking lot on the 295 side is only a few spaces. It's easier to park on the Topsham side.

I wouldn't plan a trip around it but if your driving by it makes for a nice quick stretch your legs pit stop. Very small parking lot, and you can't make a left coming out. Nice pictures of the river and the railroad bridge .

Saw this heading north yesterday, made a note to stop when we were heading back south. Nice views of the Androscoggin river and the bridge moves just enough to make it more interesting than a fixed span. Small parking lot on the south side of...More
