I find this place very unique with its great price and great service. Lots of fun things to find. Things you never knew were things.

Christmas Shopping
Dec. 2016
This store has really gone down hill, they don't have any where near the selection they used to have, I used to buy a lot of Christmas presents there not so much this past holiday season

A mixture of lots of things
Dec. 2016
The store has some nice quality items and some typical souvenir type items. The Maine theme is primarily for the souvenirs. The jams, candy, and food stuffs are Maine themed and of quality. The store is really carrying more non-Maine items now.

Cheaply-made trinkets at premium prices!
Aug. 2016 • Family
Wow. I really don't know what to make of the Maine-made shop. It's very cluttered, there are a lot of "Mainey" things, and most of them look cheap and touristy. I gotta wonder how many of their items are actually "made in Maine" and not by some Chinese folks sitting in an assembly line somewhere thousands of miles away. This is the kind of stuff you find on the coast or at Old Orchard Beach, designed to snare people who are clueless about Maine and think we're defined by lobsters and clams and fisherman with "Downeast" accents. I honestly can't see them having much appeal to the typical Waterville resident. For one thing, they don't take food stamp cards, so at least half of the population is disregarded right there. For another, they're located in the moribund "Sterns Center," a failed "Quincy Market for Waterville" that has more bats than residents. If you're a tourist (and come on, what tourist would be shopping downtown Waterville, Maine?), then you might find something of interest. But if you're a resident or even a shopper from around Waterville, I don't think you'll find much, outside of perhaps satisfying your curiosity.

Least Logical Giftshop
Odd, unfriendly, and unwelcoming staff. Inflated prices. Items offered for sale could be sold at South Of The Border. Odd, illogical items for sale. Cramped. Stuffy air. Pass this place by.

Good gift shop

Typical gift shop with lobster- and moose-themed gifts, most made in China! I come here every year for the Stonewall Kitchen jams which are at least $1 cheaper here than at Bean in Freeport or Stonewall Kitchen in York.

It's a nice place if you are shopping for a gift. They have many different, quality items. They also have food items. Maple syrup, jams, etc. It's a good place to browse. Clean store. Pricey.

Everything Maine and More
Jul. 2013 • Friends
This is the place to shop for Maine gifts. Huge selection. But watch out, some things are made in Maine and those are the ones I look for and buy but some are from other places, like China. I love the raspberry honey. Buy it every year! And the fir soap in the shape of a moose!

Great stuff, but maybe in need of new staffing.

This is the one place we take friends and family to shop when we're in Maine. Lots of great amazing gifts, in a variety of price ranges. However, this past week, my 11 year old son unfolded ONE t-shirt to see the decal before buying it, and the clerk fussed at him, saying he shouldn't unfold any more because she would have to refold them. He's a good kid, it was 1 shirt, and he was with 2 adults AND his 18 year old sister. She was unkind to a child, and she lost a lotta points for that in our book.
