Wonderful trails, snowmaking and volunteers
Dec. 2019
Definitely worth visiting these great trails for xc skiing and snowshoeing. Beautifully designed, with great volunteers and snowmaking to ensure reliable skiing all winter. A nice mix of gentle and challenging terrain, and close to both downtown Waterville, Maine and I-95.

The first thing you notice is that you cannot travel safely in your car at any speed. Thank you city mafia for stealing my money and spending it on crap.

Excellent facility
Jan. 2019 • Friends
My husband and I are beginner skiers and tried Quarry Road for the first time. With us was an experienced skier. All of us were very impressed with the variety of trails and the superb grooming. They have a fine heated welcome center with seating and a few snacks. Our only critique would be the lack of trail signs, but they do have helpful trail maps. What an asset to the region.

Great for walking and biking
Sep. 2018 • Couples
I visited these trails without planning much for them but they were great for just a nice nature walk or if you are up for the exercise they are nice for biking or trail running. Definitely a nice addition to Waterville.

Great trails

This place has grown so much in such a short time! If you used to go and liked it, then you'll love it now! There are so many trails to explore, especially if you are looking for someplace to go for a short scenic run. There are lots of paths, so you could go a different way each time.

A wonderful asset for the exercising community in Central Maine
Apr. 2018 • Solo
I live nearby on Quarry Road and amazed by the amount of use that Quarry Road Trails gets, both for personal exercise and dog walking along with kayaking and a myriad of other opportunities. It is a gem in this community and encourage those who are unfamiliar, to take a look as there is something there for everybody.

Basic Now but Nice Potential
Feb. 2018
We wanted to see what this community ski facility was like so we spent a day skiing there and then stayed nearby. It is in the early stages of an ambitious development project so right now the Welcome Center is a large yurt and there are porto potties. The trails are varied, all well groomed and well marked. The Riverside Trail has lots of up and down action. There is a Pasture Trail that has more level skiing. We went back after sunset to try out the night skiing with lights. Very pretty. I wish this project well and it is already a great addition to the community.

Excellent Nordic Skiing
Jan. 2017 • Solo
Excellent variety of trails including flat, rolling, and hills. Groomed almost daily every morning for skate and a classic track set, sections with lights and snow making. Really can’t beat this spot for the greater Waterville area. Great running in the summer as well.

Highly recommended.

Great skiing.
Jan. 2017 • Couples
This has to be one of the best places for Cross Country skiing in Central Me. Even when one would not think the skiing to be good because of lack of snow this place will surprise you. The trails are well groomed. They do make snow which certainly has helped out. We have found while other places may have poor conditions this ski area can have excellent ski conditions because of the snow making and excellent grooming. The trails area wide with lots of room to get a great workout while having fun.
